Is my financial data secure?

Your records are stored on Google's Firebase infrastructure and scoped to your signed-in account. Sign-in is restricted to approved addresses, so nobody else can reach your workspace.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes. KSP Tools installs as an app and keeps working without a connection — you'll see an "Offline" marker in the top bar, and your changes are held on the device. They sync up the next time you're online.

How do I back up my data?

Preferences → Export gives you an Excel copy of your events and payments at any time. Your data also lives in the cloud, so signing in on a new device brings everything with you.

Can I lock the app on my phone?

Yes. More → App & Updates → App Lock adds Face ID or fingerprint on open. An unlock stays valid for 24 hours.

When do payment reminders arrive?

Once a day, at the time you set in Preferences → Notifications, your workspace checks for payments that are upcoming or overdue and sends a push notification — even when the app is closed. If nothing is due that day, no notification is sent, so quiet days are normal.

Can I rename the "UPI" payment tag?

Yes. In Preferences → Owner & Workspace you can rename the "UPI" tag to whatever you use — GPay, PayTM, Online, and so on. It updates everywhere payments appear; what's actually recorded stays the same.

Can I send a client a payment reminder?

Open an event with a pending balance and tap "Remind client" — it prepares a message you can share to WhatsApp or any other app. You choose who to send it to and when.

What does "Beta" mean here?

The app is in active development and built for Krishna Shah Photography's own use. Features may change between versions.

By using KSP Tools ("the Application"), provided and maintained by Krishna Shah Photography, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Beta phase: the Application is an active beta release, provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
Your data: you keep all rights to the operational data you enter. You are solely responsible for its accuracy, legality and appropriateness.
Notifications: if you enable payment reminders, the Application stores a notification token for your device so reminders can be delivered, and may send push notifications about upcoming or overdue payments. You can turn reminders off at any time in Preferences.
Future service tiers: Krishna Shah Photography may move this software to a paid subscription in future. Active users will be given adequate notice.

Keeping your event logistics and financial operations confidential is a core priority.

Where it's stored: application data is hosted on Google Firebase, with access controls that isolate your workspace to your account.
On your device: your theme, display preferences and any in-progress quotation or agreement draft stay on the device itself and are never uploaded.
Notifications: enabling payment reminders stores a push token for your device so reminders can be delivered; it isn't used for anything else, and turning reminders off removes it.
Sharing to other apps: when you share an invoice image or a client payment reminder, the content is handed to the app you choose (for example WhatsApp) through your device's own share sheet — from that point, that app's terms and privacy policy apply.
Zero-selling policy: your business data is strictly your own. We will never sell, rent or distribute your personal information, financial data or client lists to third parties.

Not a certified accounting system. KSP Tools is an internal organisational application built to help event professionals track shoots, crew and payments. It is not certified accounting software.

You are responsible for verifying your own income, issuing legally compliant tax invoices, calculating taxes and meeting the financial regulations that apply to your business. Quotations, agreements and estimates produced by the Application are working documents, not legal or financial advice.

Under no circumstances shall Krishna Shah Photography be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the Application.
